About Your Pet's Boarding Experience

Accommodations

Animals are boarded in their own cage or run with fresh towels, bedding, and water at all times. If you would like your pets to share a cage, please let us know. If you prefer that towels not be present (for example if your pet will chew and destroy towels), please tell us. Dogs are taken for walks for about 5 minutes, about 6 times per day, or more if needed.

Feeding

While your animal stays with us, they will be fed twice daily. If you have a different feeding schedule, please let us know and we will accommodate your pet's needs.

Medications

If your animal is currently on any medication, we request that you bring each medication in the bottle with the original label so we can administer the medication in the hospital. If your pet runs out of medication or needs any additional medication while it is boarding, we can fill most meds in the hospital.

Is your animal on any medication that you would like us to give while boarding? If so, please list the medication, doses, and how often they need to be given. If you give medications differently that what is listed on the prescription label, please notify us of the difference so we can make sure it is given appropriately

Personal Items

At Mesa Veterinary Hospital, we provide blankets for all animals which are changed out as often as necessary. While we will do our very best to return any personal items (toys, blankets, bowls, etc) that are brought with your pet, we cannot assume responsibility for these items, as often times they can be destroyed or soiled by your pet, or misplaced while being washed. If you do decide to bring a blanket for your animal, we ask that it be labeled with your last name.

Pick-up Time

Please plan on picking your animal up during business hours. Although we do have 24 hour care, our overnight staff is not allowed to open the door or discharge any pets for any reason. Please understand this is for their safety, and the safety of your pet.

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Saturday, Sunday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
